It’s been a while since my last project post. I’ve been keeping myself busy behind the scenes, working on a project that I wanted to push much further than a typical exterior visualization — the Nissan 400Z NISMO. This one became a full-scale 3D exercise where I modeled the entire vehicle from the ground up, including the full exterior, interior, trunk, and engine, followed by detailed texturing, material development, lighting, and rendering. It took quite a bit of time, but I wanted to give every part of the car the attention it deserved.
As a Transportation Designer, 3D modeling and rendering have always been a major part of how I explore and communicate design. I see 3D not just as a visualization tool, but as another layer of the design process—where proportion, surfacing, construction, materials, and details all come together. This project was a chance to push those skills further and see how far I could take a production-level vehicle in terms of modeling accuracy, surface quality, and visual fidelity. After all the time spent on it, I’m finally ready to share the result.
